Student Council News
Student Council would like to thank our PTO for donating popcorn, oil and salt for our popcorn sale at the CRE Sock Hop. We had lots of business, so thank you to all who stopped by and bought popcorn and a special thanks to all who donated "extra" just to help us out!!! Thank you to all students who have supported our candy sales, school store and our hat parade this year. We appreciate your support. We will be purchasing a bench for our school grounds with the money we have made this year. Look for our concession stand on Field Day on May 21st. We will have some tasty treats!
Birthday Book Club Contest
A total of 1,027 books have been donated to our school for the 2007-2008 school year!! Wow, that is awesome.
Coyotes-
- - the resourceful ones of Native American legends
- - the laughing, happy ones, the ones who seem to always find creative ways of managing their environment.
Just like coyotes, the Cedar Ridge Team has created a warm, secure "den" in which our students can learn and grow. We value and welcome the involvement of parents, family and community members to assist us in the process of educating our students.
Our team believes that a child's education should:
- Be the shared responsibility of the school, the students, their families and the community
- Address academics as well as social, physical and creative development
- Welcome and honor diversity
- Include uninterrupted, quality instructional time
- Foster lifelong learning
We honor and support the Cedar Ridge staff, by fostering a culture in which collaboration is an everyday occurrence. Through collaboration we are committed to regularly and consistently assess the educational needs of our students and adjusting instruction accordingly
